Welcome to the Sample Center from Guilford of Maine
Designed to compliment existing sample support, the sample center is an alternative to traditional swatchcards and allows for instant searching of our entire up to date Guilford of Maine vertical surface fabrics and a selection of upholstery products. The site is fully searchable and if you become a registered user you can order and manage your samples.
Product Search
The sample center provides three different options to search for samples:
Quick Search. If you know the style and color number, just input it in the noted fields and then click on the 'submit' button.
Browse Products. Use the drop down menu to select a product family and then click on the 'submit' button.
Advanced Search. Search via criteria such as color, design, product type and content. Simply use the pull down menus to select the options you require and then click on the 'submit' button.
The search result page shows the products that match your search criteria. It also has navigation to take you to the other sections of the site. The page shows ten swatches at a time, you can click on the next / previous icons to navigate between results pages. The swatches or product numbers can be clicked on to view a larger sample and a description of the product. Next to each swatch are the buttons to request samples("request sample" button) and add the sample to your project folders("add to folder" button), just be sure to register to use this option.
Log In
The register page allows users to register their details so that they can order samples and manage project folders. When registering for the first time, please supply all the details in the required fields. On return visits, simply supply your email and your password. A default project folder will be set up the first time you register (Project 1), when you log in as an existing user you will be asked which project folder you want to be active. Your details will be kept on file for the purpose of sending samples and occasionally to keep you up to date on product news. You will be sent a copy of your registration details. Project Folders
After you are registered / logged in, the project folders tool becomes available. This feature allows you to manage samples for various projects or to create a selection of favorites. To create a new folder simply go to the project folders page and click the 'new folder' icon. You can create unlimited folders, to navigate between folders simply use the drop down menu. To add a sample to your project folder, click the 'add to folder' icon next to it while that folder is active
Samples Basket
After you are registered / logged in, you can order samples, simple click the "request sample" button next to the samples you require and it will be added to your 'sample basket'.
To request that the samples are sent out, go to the 'Samples Basket' page where all the samples you have asked for will be listed, Please note that a maximum of 6 samples per color can be requested at any one time. You can request that the samples are sent to your registered address or alternatively that the samples are sent to a colleague or client.
